Saddle Brook, NJ: Award-winning lighting products manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co., Saddle Brook, New Jersey, has unveiled a line of 14 shatterproof, weatherproof, polyethylene globes that eliminate glass and polycarbonate globes in the development of interior and exterior lighting fixtures to reduce weight, add impact-resistance, improve safety and cut costs.

Rotationally molded in a single, seamless piece of uniform thickness, the durable globes deliver even lighting distribution in an anti-glare, UV-resistant, virtually unbreakable design that may perform without maintenance for decades. Ideal for architects, landscape designers and lighting designers and manufacturers involved in decorative, security, hazard and other commercial and residential lighting, the versatile globes are UL-listed as suitable for wet location on light posts and wall sconces and in other installations demanding resistance to water, snow and ice as well as in indoor installations requiring visual appeal.

The globes are available in a translucent finish with threaded, neck and neckless fitters in the following diameters:
