Indexing Tool Posts for Large CNC Lathes
The ITI/Exact, Hydraulic Indexing Tool Posts are available with either 4 or 6 tool stations, in sizes 18”, 24” and 32” across flats and are prepared ready to accept square shank turning tools or a variety of drill and boring bar holders.
These self-contained Non-Lifting Tool Posts are bi-directional, they position and lock into a large diameter 3-piece Hirth tooth coupling with an accuracy of +/- 4 seconds and have a stepped sealing arrangement making them resistant to coolant and chips.
The Tool Posts have been developed specifically for use on large horizontal lathes and are designed with the strength and rigidity to carry heavy tooling and withstand high cutting forces.
