Indexing Table doubles robotic work-cell productivity.

Press Release Summary:

OSA-LATOR(TM) lets operator remove completed parts and set pieces for next part into tooling fixture on one side of indexer, while robot welds parts on other side. Mechanical orbital-lok drive system provides ramped acceleration-deceleration, vibration-free rotation, and stops within +/- 0.002 in. at 30 in. from center of rotation. Capacities range from 1,000 to 10,000 lb and indexing times range from 1.5 to 4.0 sec.

Indexing table doubles productivity for robotic work cells

As the robot welds one part positioned on one side of the indexer, a human operator can remove completed parts and set the pieces for the next part into the tooling fixture on the other side of the indexing table. Using OSA-LATOR(TM) tables with 3, 4 and 5 positions in conjunction with multiple robots can help to provide even greater gains in productivity.

Purpose-built for high cycle indexing, the OSA-LATOR table offers several unique features: a mechanical orbital-lok drive system which provides ramped acceleration-deceleration; naturally self-locking; vibration-free rotation; and accurate stopping within ±0.002" at 30" from center of rotation.

Tables in the product line are available in regular or low profile heights with load capacities ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 pounds and indexing times between 1.5 and 4.0 seconds. The table's unique design permits quick tooling changes for increased flexibility.
