Baumer Electric has introduced the H25 Square Flange Incremental Encoder, a general purpose, rotary motion encoder designed for simple speed, direction, and/or position monitoring. Designed with an industry standard H25 NEMA flange footprint and a 3/8-inch shaft, this Baumer encoder can be easily installed into a wide range of low to moderate resolution industrial rotary motion applications.
Offering exceptional performance at a highly competitive price, the H25 encoder is capable of handling rotational speeds as high as 10,000 rpm. The encoder can deliver up to 6,000 pulses per revolution output as a standard quadrature signal for easy integration into existing control systems. The robust bearings, high quality components, and rugged industrial aluminum housing used on the H25 encoder increase encoder life and deliver a shock rating of 200G.
Available with IP65 protection, the encoder will operate in temperatures as high as 100ºC and relative humidity as high as 95%. Output signals include channels A, B and N and their inverses.
