SHANGHAIÂ – Chatsworth Products' (CPI) DistributionFrame Cabinet System, engineered to optimize, store and secure networking and building automation equipment in Intelligent Buildings, now supports up to 680 kg (1500 lb) of equipment.

CPI recognizes that it is important that the racks and cabinets being installed into these spaces, be able to support the additional weight of equipment, cabling, and thermal requirements. CPI's DistributionFrame is a high-quality, cost-effective Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) cabinet that is manufactured locally and highly adaptable to future equipment changes. In addition to the increased load rating, the DistributionFrame Cabinet supports any mix of patch panels, fiber enclosures and switch equipment and is designed with a small footprint to conserve floor space.
The cabinet's top panel has four grommet-protected cable access ports for easy cable entry and protects cables from cuts or abrasions. Additional cable management accessories are available to ensure all cables, including Cat 6A, are neatly organized and secured for optimum network performance.
