Bulbrite Expands "ECO Halogens" Series Compliant with New EISA Legislation

Innovative manufacturer unveils the next generation of incandescents

MOONACHIE, NEW JERSEY--- As many traditional incandescent light bulbs will be banned under the new EISA regulations beginning January 1, 2012, Bulbrite, a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative, energy-efficient light source solutions and premier educational resource for lamping technology, has developed the next generation of innovative incandescent lamps including its NEW 3-Way and True Daylight A19 lamp collections, expanding its complete line of "ECO Halogen" A19 bulbs.

This series of lamps complies with EISA, the Energy Independence and Security Act requiring general service light bulbs to operate up to 30% more efficiently than current standards require. Bulbrite's "ECO Halogen" A19 series allows consumers to gain the benefits of higher efficiency and superior lighting quality, offering an alternative to CFLs (compact fluorescents) and LEDs (light emitting diodes).

The new 3-Way Eco Halogen A19 series offers three styles of energy efficient bulbs that project pleasant soft white light for visual comfort. Each lamp offers three levels of brightness, ranging from 29W to 72W. The 3-Way ECO Halogen produces more lumens per watt than standard 3-way incandescents and maintains full light output during the course of its life.

The True Daylight Eco Halogen A19 series features an array of energy saving lamps that project a healthier, naturally more pleasing light similar to sunlight. Offering excellent color rendition and minimizing glare to reduce fatigue, the True Daylight styles are designed with neodymium glass (not a coating) to filter out the unpleasant yellow hue associated with incandescent bulbs.

Bulbrite's Eco Halogens are dimmable and last up to 1,000 hours. The most common uses include chandeliers, outdoor and security lights, ceiling pendants, recessed downlights, portable table and floor lamps, as well as wall sconces. In comparison to incandescents, these new Halogen lamps significantly reduce energy consumption without sacrificing light output. Visit bulbrite.com for more information and to view technical specifications.

Bulbrite already offers a series of Eco Halogen A19 lamps that range from 29 to 72 watts and received an ADEX Platinum Award for Design Excellence earlier this year.

Bulbrite offers extensive online information and literature to educate industry professionals about the "ECO Halogen" line and upcoming EISA legislation.
