Cashco Introduces New BL1 Regulator
Ellsworth, Kansas, USA — Cashco Inc., a pioneer in the sanitary and bio-pharmaceutical market, recently introduced one more option for customers who require a back pressure regulator for gaseous applications. Designated as the Model BL1, the new valve is an in-line regulator designed specifically for clean gas applications.
“Weighing as little as seven pounds, the Model BL1 is capable of controlling inlet pressures up to 135 psig,” explains Clint Rogers, General Manager, Valve Division, Cashco, Inc. “In addition, all wetted, metal parts are constructed of 316L stainless steel and are machined to meet SFV-4, while all of the soft goods meet FDA code of Regulations Title 21, Part 177 USP Class VI. Plus, the BL1 is available with either 1/2" and 3/4" Tri-Clamp® body connections to meet specific needs.”
As Rogers explains, standard offerings include a 316L stainless steel metal plug and a standard knob mounted on the adjusting screw that makes it easier for the end user to adjust set points. An EPDM O-ring, located on the pressure plate, provides additional stability for all flowing conditions, while the standard EPDM diaphragm helps extend the valve’s cycle life.
