In-Line Flowmeter uses transit-time ultrasonic technology.

Press Release Summary:

Suited for consumable or industrial water applications, FDT100 Series employs 2 flow sensors that alternately transmit and receive signal. Time of flight is used to measure flow rate from 65-1,100 gpm (nominal), depending on flange size. With no moving parts, battery-powered meter exhibits minimal pressure loss and does not require filtration. Product comes with integrally mounted display or remote-mount version and 150 lb, 2-8 in. ANSI flanges.

In-Line Ultrasonic Flow Meter - FDT100 Series

OMEGA's new FDT100 Series flowmeters employ advanced transit-time ultrasonic technology, in which two flow sensors alternately transmit and receive a signal and "time of flight" is used to measure flow rate. Designed for long, economical service in either consumable or industrial water applications, these battery-powered meters have no moving parts. Pressure loss is minimal and filtration unnecessary. Long-term stability and a wide measurement range facilitate monitoring of consumption and leakage. Both flange styles-150-lb.
ANSI and DIN-come in various sizes, with a choice of integral or remote electronics that display flow rate or total at the push of a button.

Price starts at $1,752.
