In-Line Flow Sensors utilize calorimetric principle.

Press Release Summary:

Remote-mounted, in-line flow sensors feature stainless steel wetted parts that are available with 4 or 10 mm inner diameter. They can be installed into new and existing applications. Flow detection is accomplished without moving parts so there is nothing to obstruct fluid flow. Sensors offer choice of AC or DC operation, as well as analog, discrete, and relay outputs. They are suited for flow detection in limited space applications.

TURCK's New Remote Mounted In-Line Flow Sensors

Minneapolis, MN-September 5, 2003-TURCK Inc. introduces the release of a new line of remote mounted in-line flow sensors. These sensors are designed to provide machine builders with solutions for flow detection in limited space applications. The new in-line flow sensors feature a compact housing, with stainless steel wetted parts that are available with a 4 or 10 mm inner diameter. They can easily be installed into new and existing applications with fittings available from TURCK. Flow detection is accomplished without moving parts using the calorimetric principle, resulting in a reliable sensor with no intrusive parts that obstruct fluid flow.

The sensors are compatible with all of TURCK's flow amplifiers, giving you the option of AC and DC operation as well as analog, discrete, and relay outputs. Connection to the amplifier is accomplished using TURCK's extensive line of M12 eurofast® cordsets and junction boxes.

These new remote in-line sensors, combined with TURCK's complete line of cordsets and amplifiers offer the users flexibility to solve their toughest flow applications.
