Maximum Impact With Makita's New 1 Inch Impact Wrench
July 1, 2005 - LA MIRADA, CALIF. - Makita USA, Inc., manufacturer of high quality industrial power tools and accessories is proud to announce the launch of its new 1" Impact Wrench, model TW1000. This new impact wrench has an impressive 738 ft.lbs. of torque for large, industrial applications, taking only three seconds to seat a 1-3/16" bolt. The TW1000 also features a no load speed of 1,400 RPM with an innovative rocker type forward and reverse switch for fast, one-handed operation.
This new 1" impact wrench has a large 3-1/8" hammer that provides greater impact power of 1,500 impacts per minute for optimal jobsite performance. For added durability, the TW1000's gear housing, rear casing, and handle are protected with rubber bumpers. This ergonomically designed impact wrench has a rubberized grip for more comfort, control and reduced operator fatigue. It also features externally accessible brushes and ball bearings for longer life of the tool.
The TW1000 has additional features that contribute to the tool operator's overall convenience, such as a side handle that rotates 360° and a conveniently-located sky hook for continuous use, jobsite portability and easy storage.
