Immersion Coolers achieve temperatures as low as -100°C.

Press Release Summary:

Offering alternative to dry ice and liquid nitrogen, VLT Series can be used to achieve low temperature capability with non-refrigerated circulators or boost cooling capacity of refrigerated circulators. Non-controlled models provide temperatures from -40 to -100°C, while controlled models achieve temperatures from -40 to -85°C. Equipped with rigid coil probe, coolers are suited for use with solvent traps, freeze point apparatus, impact testing, and lyophilization.

Immersion Coolers Achieve Temperatures as Low as -100°C

Niles, IL - Three redesigned low-temperature coolers that can be used to achieve low temperature capability with non-refrigerated circulators or boost the cooling capacity of refrigerated circulators are now available from PolyScience. Designed to provide continuous cooling to temperatures as low as -100°C, VLT Series Immersion Coolers provide laboratory personnel with an economical alternative to dry ice and liquid nitrogen and are ideal for use with solvent traps, freeze point apparatus, impact testing, lyophilization, and other applications requiring low temperatures.

VLT 100 Series Coolers feature a digital temperature display and are available with or without temperature control. The non-controlled models operate at maximum cooling and can achieve temperatures from -40° to -100°C; the temperature controlled models can achieve temperatures from -40° to -85°C. The VLT 60, designed for less demanding laboratory applications, has a temperature range of -20° to -60°C and operates at maximum cooling capacity. A rigid coil probe is standard on all units; flexible and cold finger probes are available as options on the VLT 100.
