IMI Sensors Launches New High Temperature Products

Designed for Demanding Measurement and Monitoring Requirements

DEPEW, NY — IMI Sensors, manufacturer of industrial vibration monitoring instrumentation, announced the release of several new products designed for use in high temperature applications.

• Model 176A02 Extreme Temperature Pressure Sensor- Model 176A02 is a differential charge pressure sensor for 1200 °F (649 °C) environments that offers a sensitivity of 6.0 pC/psi and a measurement range of 725 psi peak. The sensor includes UHT-12™ elements housed in a hazardous area approved Nickel 600 housing with an integral 10 foot MI hardline cable and 7/16-27 2-pin connector.

• Models 357D92 and 357D93 Extreme Temperature Accelerometers- Models 357D92 and 357D93 are two single-ended charge accelerometers for 1200 °F (649 °C) environments that offer a sensitivity of 2.3 pC/g and a measurement range of ±1000 g peak. Designed with UHT-12™ elements, the sensors have a Nickel 600 housing with an integral 10 foot hardline cable and 10-32 jack connector.

• Model EX682A40 DIN Rail Differential Charge Amplifier- Model EX682A40 is a DIN rail-mounted model that offers a sensitivity of 10 mV/pC and an input range of ±250 pC. Approved for use in hazardous areas, the model can be used with differential charge pressure or vibration sensors to convert the incoming differential charge signal into a voltage output.

• Models 421A30, 421A31 and 421A3X Differential Charge Amplifiers- Models 421A30 are pre-configured to be used with differential charge pressure sensors and have a sensitivity of 20.6 mV/pC and an input range of ±242 pC. Models 421A31 are pre-configured to be used with differential charge accelerometers with a sensitivity of 10 mV/pC and an input range of ±500 pC. Model 421A3X is a configurable model that can be used with differential charge pressure or vibration sensors. All three models can convert an incoming differential charge signal into a current or voltage output.

IMI has developed these products for use in various high temperature applications including gas turbine monitoring and other equipment monitoring in high temperature environments.
