DVT Launches New Legend 550 Series
Higher speed SmartImage Sensors raise the bar in machine vision
Atlanta, September 17, 2003 - DVT Corporation announces the introduction of the Legend 550 series - the next generation in smart camera technology. Featuring DSP technology and increased memory, the 550 series operates at speeds up to eight times faster than DVT's high-speed Legend 540.
The 550 series incorporates a Texas Instruments DSP processor and features increased RAM and flash memory - while retaining the familiar form factor of the current Legend family. The Legend 550 family offers gray scale and color models, as well as, standard and high resolution systems, and utilizes DVT's Windows®-based FrameWork software.
The Legend 550 series includes the following four models:
o Legend 550M - High-speed, gray-scale imaging with DSP processor and 640 X 480 resolution
o Legend 552C - High-speed, color imaging with DSP processor and 640 X480 resolution
o Legend 554M -High-speed, high-resolution imaging with DSP processor and 1280 X 1024 resolution
o Legend 554C-High-speed, high-resolution, color imaging with DSP processor and 1280 X 1024 resolution
