Rugged Illuminated Switch Takes a Lickin' and Keeps on Clickin'

The new Illuminated NexGen signaling switches from Tapeswitch Corporation provide press-at-any-point actuation in a thin, rugged package from 3 inches to 6 feet long. They are designed for applications where continuous visibility and a large operating surface are required.

These tough switches stand up to being pressed, hit, kicked or kneed by an operator. The enclosed switching element is protected from physical abuse, vandalism, and harsh environmental conditions. NexGen switches meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements.

Colored inserts can be added under the clear, impact-resistant cover to match equipment or area color schemes. Graphics and instructions can be added as shown in the illustration. Multi-zone versions are also available. A diagnostic LED option provides feedback of switch operation and aids in fault detection.
