All Metal Sealed Keypads With Illumination Aid Visually Impaired

EAO, the expert in Human Machine Interface, offers as a part of their vast sealed/anti-vandal line of keypads and keyboards, their S.Series. These keypads are designed for high-use public and industrial environments, ideal for access control, banking, kiosk and now handicap applications.

Rugged, all-metal construction assures extended, vandal-resistant operation under the most difficult of conditions. Contributing to these benefits, are the keypad's front plate and anti-pull-off keys - each manufactured from stainless steel and Zamak respectively. Reliability is achieved with gold plated contacts making them guaranteed for up to 4 million operations.

These keypads can be attractively mounted either from the front or rear of the panel, while still maintaining an IP67 degree of protection. Individual key illumination is made possible
with a choice of red, yellow, or green LED's. Both 12 and 16 key keypad versions are offered in standard, telephone, or hexi-decimal 11 configurations.

Legends are possible via precise laser engraving. Non-illuminated keypads can be obtained with any symbol or Windows true-type font in a variety of ink colors. To aid the visually
impaired, a "blind" pin locator can be found on key "5". Also, Braille and raised characters are now offered making these keypads ideal for the possible requirements of ADA
applications.
