Cit Relay & Switch JC Series Bi-Colored Illuminated Pushbutton Switch Offers New Cap Styles
Minneapolis, Minnesota - The highly popular JC Series offered by CIT Relay & Switch now has square, rectangle and sculptured cap options with custom legends available on the diffuser lens. Bi-colored LED options are available in blue, green, red and yellow combinations. Single color LEDs are three segment and bi-colored includes six segments which provide uniform lighting - eliminating unsightly hot spots. This momentary or latching 24VDC rated switch offers both SPDT and DPDT. The internal snap-action mechanism provides long lasting, quick make and break contacts, tactile detent and audible feedback features. Less than ½ inch behind the panel makes this switch ideal for applications requiring compact distance between the PC board and panel.
Technical Data: The electrical life of the JC rated at 200,000. Insulation resistance is >1000MW minimum. Dielectric strength is 1000V rms minimum. The JC offers contact resistance of <50mW initially. Actuation force is 200 ± 50gF with Actuator Travel of 2.2 ± 0.1mm. The operating temperature of the JC Series is -40°C to 85°C with a storage temperature of -40°C to 85°C. The actuator cap and body are made out of Poly Carbonate with housing and terminal base of Polyamide, UL94V-O. Contacts are Gold or Silver plated Brass Rivet and Terminals are Gold or Silver plated Brass. Epoxy sealed terminals block out flux and other contaminates.
