igus to Exhibit at IWF 2008

Enclosed cables carriers offer protection against woodchips

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - May 15, 2008 - igus® Inc. will be exhibiting at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta this year from August 20-23.

The company will be promoting its Energy Tubes at the show, which are fully enclosed cable carriers designed to protect cables and hoses from falling woodchips and debris. They are available in a wide range of sizes and offer a space-efficient, cost-effective solution for cable management requirements in the woodworking industry.

The Energy Tubes are made from a high-performance plastic developed by igus and designed to be strong, durable and corrosion-resistant.

Removable or snap-open lids enable easy cable access at each link along the carrier, reducing cable installation and maintenance time. For customers requiring a smaller solution, igus offers a micro Energy Tube with a zipper-like design. Each lid is interconnected to behave like a "zipper," but can be separated at any point along the carrier if needed.

Energy Tubes are an ideal partner for igus' Chainflex® continuous-flex cables, which are specially designed to cope with high-flexing applications on automated machinery. The company will also be displaying samples of its lubrication-free plain bearings and linear guides.

To pre-register for the show, go to www.iwfatlanta.com. Visit igus on booth number 8657 in Building C for more information and to discuss your application with an igus representative.
