Igus Debuts LeviChain Magnetic Cable Carrier for Virtually No Wear or Noise.
Igus® Inc., the leading developer of Energy Chain® cable carriers and Chainflex® high-flex cables, has created an all-new magnetic cable carrier that operates suspended in a magnetic force field and floats through the application. New LeviChain will be on display at IMTS next month in Chicago, Ill. September 6-13th at McCormick Place.
Also on display will be igus' newly developed polymer that withstands extremely hot chips and metal filings. Igumid HT is now an option for igus' successful line of E2 Energy Tube carriers that provide complete protection for cables and hoses.
Igus has been busy this summer and also debuts today a new iglide® slewing-ring bearing and a new line of continuous-flex drive cables engineered specifically for Allen Bradley® systems.
