IEEE 1394 with Improved Shielding
San Jose, CA - Kycon Inc. has expanded the line of right angle, surface mount IEEE 1394 Serial Bus connectors to also include a fully shielded version. The KFWS-SMTBS from Kycon has added back shield to prevent problems associated with EMI/RFI transmissions. The body is available in either black or white PA6T high temperature thermoplastic. As all of Kycon's IEEE 1394 connectors, this fully shielded version will help to improve the data transfer from personal computers to computer peripherals and digital consumer audio/video equipment such as digital cameras and video recorders. The KFWS-SMTBS series is rated up to 400 Mbps, has tin/nickel plated solder tails and gold plating on the contact area. CSA/NRTL/US Certified File No. LR78160.
