New Container Promotes Flow, Drainage Of Viscous Products

Saddle Brook, NJ: Bulk container manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD), Saddle Brook, NJ, has unveiled the Hopper Bottom intermediate bulk container featuring a dramatic, 30-degree angle, hopper-shaped bottom that promotes the consistent
flow and complete drainage of adhesives, inks, paints, soaps, lotions, lubricating greases, fiber optic gels and other viscous products while preventing the material from sticking to container walls as waste.

Rotomolded in a single unit from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), the seamless, UV- and chemical-resistant Hopper Bottom IBC includes a 2" full port valve as either bottom or side discharge and an extra wide, 23" top with lever lock ring for easy filling, mixing and cleaning while ensuring a secure closure during shipping and handling.

Set in a sturdy, powder coated, steel frame with optional identification plates on four sides, the Hopper Bottom IBC stacks two high when full and is four-way forklift accessible. The container is offered in 285- and 330-gallon capacities measuring 45" x 45" x 56" and 45" x 45" x 63.5" respectively (side discharge) with approximate tare weights of 370 lbs. and 420 lbs.
