Simplify remote sensor installation and save on wiring costs with the new ION Modbus Network Nodes! The Analog Node accepts up to 12 analog sensor inputs and transmits the data over Modbus RTU back to your PLC or control system. The Discrete Node accepts up to 6 discrete sensor inputs (such as panel and limit switches or proximity sensors) and has 6 relay outputs to control local alarms or machinery shutdown.
ION Analog Input Node (AIN) - (12) 4-20mA inputs, Modbus RTU network
o Read up to 12 analog sensors such as bearing temperature, belt alignment, belt or shaft speed
o Read up to 372 analog sensors in one network (all 31 nodes are AIN)
ION Discrete I/O (DIO) - (6) switch inputs, (6) relay outputs, Modbus RTU network
o Read up to 6 switches or discrete sensor outputs such as panel and limit switches or proximity sensors
o Read up to 186 switches or discrete sensor outputs (all 31 nodes are DIO)
