Original Press Release:

New FieldPoint(TM) Module Performs Accurate Measurements for High-Voltage Applications

AUSTIN, Texas - Nov. 13, 2001 - Engineers and scientists now can perform accurate, high-voltage analog measurements with National Instruments 12-bit resolution, +/-120 V input range distributed I/O module. This FieldPoint module, the FP-AI-102, is designed for use in industrial environments, automotive testing for fuel cells, and high-voltage battery packs.

With the FP-AI-102 and National Instruments easy-to-use software, users now can directly measure high-voltage process signals without the challenge of designing custom signal conditioning systems.

The FP-AI-102 high-voltage analog input module works with all FieldPoint network modules, including the new FieldPoint 2000 Family, which supports LabVIEW Real-Time for programming embedded measurement and control applications. Engineers and scientists now can directly mount embedded stand-alone measurement and control applications next to, and connected with, high-voltage signals commonly found on industrial machinery. With National Instruments FieldPoint distributed I/O, engineers and scientists can easily integrate software and hardware for lower systems cost and easier configuration and program development, with the flexibility to meet changing application needs.
