Canton, MA (March 22, 2007) - United Electronic Industries (UEI) is pleased to announce the release of the UEIModbus Cube. The UEIModbus is a compact, rugged, Ethernet based data acquisition and control interface that communicates with a host computer or PLC over Modbus TCP. The UEIModbus Cube functions as a Modbus slave easily accessed by any software client acting as a Modbus master. Most popular HMI software supports the Modbus protocol.
The UEIModbus 600 cube is 4" x 4" x 5.8" and supports up to 150 analog inputs or 288 digital I/O while the UEIModbus 300 is 4" x 4" x 4" and offers 75 analog or 144 digital I/O channels. Offering over 60 million different configurations of analog input/output, digital I/O, counter/timer and quadrature encoder system, there's sure to be one that's a perfect fit for almost any application.
