RPC616 Analog Output and Digital I/O Card for PC/104

Densely packed card has 16 Analog Outputs, 24 Digital I/O and several programmable modes

Springville, Utah - The RPC616 from Robotrol Corporation contains 16 digital-to-analog outputs, and 24 digital I/O with a number of programmable modes.

The 16 analog outputs have 12 bit resolution and may be set to seven voltage ranges: 2.5V, 5V, 10V, +-5V, +-10V, -5 to 0V, -10 to 0V. Four to 20 ma current loops are available as an option. When a card has current loops installed, analog outputs can be configured as all current loops, all voltages or a mixture of the two.

The 24 digital I/O can be individually programmed to be either inputs or outputs. After a power-on-reset or software reset all I/O are configured as inputs. I/O may be configured as outputs by writing "ones" to the corresponding bits in the Digital I/O Direction Register.

The RPC616 has the following programmable features: data transfer width (8 or 16 bits), interrupt enable, maximum D/A channel number, mixed voltage and current loop modes (4 combinations), digital I/O direction, and software reset.

FEATURE SUMMARY:
o 16 Analog Outputs, 12 Bit Resolution
o Ranges: 2.5V, 5V, 10V, +-5V, +-10V, -5 to 0V, -10 to 0V
o 24 Digital I/O Bit by Bit Programmable as Inputs or Outputs
o Options: 4 to 20 ma current loops for Analog Outputs, Extended Temperature Range

The commercial temperature card with all Analog and Digital I/O is $429 in single quantity. Quantity discounts are available. Contact Sales at Robotrol Corporation (801) 491-8877, email: robotrol@ix.netcom.com, www.robotrolcorp.com.
