16-Channel I/O Board For Harsh Industrial Environments Introduced By PEP In 3U/4HP Format

Pittsburgh, PA, January 2002 - PEP Modular Computers, Inc., the leading manufacturer of low power, high performance CompactPCI and VME single board computers, systems and software, has introduced a new 16-channel I/O board designed specifically to serve as a building block in harsh environment CompactPCI
systems designed for a wide range of industrial applications, including analog I/O.

The new CP371 offers exceptional low cost per mode and is particularly suitable for high I/O applications. Key features include: 3U/4HP format; 12-bit resolution; an accuracy (INL) reading of 1 LSB @ -40°C - +85°C; an input voltage range of 0... 5V; 0...10V, ± 5V, ± 10V; and an input current range of 0...20mA, 4...20mA. The CP371 also features a channel connection that can be either single ended or differential (three pins per channel); a 13 kHz throughput; and isolation for 2 kV to system (no channel-to-channel isolation).

The price for the CP371 is $603 per unit. Delivery is 4-6 weeks ARO.
