Rymic Expands Remote Data Acquisition Via the Internet With New Analog/Digital I/O Board


HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - July 24, 2002 - Rymic Systems, an industry leader in the fast growing remote asset management market, today announced the availability of a new multi-function, 16-bit data acquisition module designed specifically for the company's remote data acquisition and control product, rymicNET. The Model 2436 expands rymicNET's ability to remotely monitor and control assets over the Internet by providing (24) differential 16-bit analog inputs, (4) single-ended 16-bit analog outputs, and (8) optically isolated digital I/O points. The Model 2436 is available with +10V voltage or 4-20ma current for the analog I/O channels and 200V isolation is provided for the digital I/O channels. Other features include auto-calibration, an internal DC/DC converter and regulator, and simultaneous sampling for the high-speed analog inputs.
