Original Press Release:

Hydrostatic Test Systems for Simulating Undersea Pressures Offered by WSF

March 2003 - Hydrostatic test systems that make ocean depth pressures readily accessible for oceanographic research projects, materials evaluation, instrument performance checks, undersea hardware pressure-testing, and many other applications are now being offered by WSF Industries, Inc., Buffalo, New York.

The company states that it manufacturers all key system components, including the pressure vessels, in its own plant. WSF adds that this allows it to custom-build the units quickly and economically to customer specifications. These units can be made in almost any size, in horizontal or vertical configurations, and with simple or sophisticated controls, including programmable versions for pressure and temperature variations.

Numerous innovations, developed and patented by WSF over the past 50 years, are said to be available for incorporation in the hydrostatic test systems. Among those mentioned are a Rapidoor® quick access, pressure chamber closure, and a Rapid/Loader® mechanism for fast, exterior loading and unloading without need for a pit, bridge, or external "piggy-back" cart.

Each system is delivered as a complete package with all components and controls pre-assembled to minimize installation time and expense.

Additional information on the hydrostatic test systems is obtainable from WSF Industries, Inc., P.O. Box 400, Kenmore Branch, Buffalo, NY 14217.
