Sierra Monitor Releases New H2S IT Gas Sensor Module

Network-Enabled Smart Gas Sensor Module with 6-Month Calibration Interval

March 20, 2008 The new Sierra Monitor 5100-05-IT is the only Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Sensor with a 6 month (180 day) calibration cycle. This cuts maintenance costs in half when compared to the standard 90-day calibration interval common in the industry.

IT Series Hazardous Gas Detectors allow system integrators and instrumentation engineers to interface these proven gas sensors into their plant-wide safety and monitoring systems. Integration to existing systems is easy as the IT Series are loaded with 4-20 mA output, RS-485 Modbus interface, SentryBus interface, optional integral relay output and digital display! Non-intrusive calibration, remote sensor option and 316 Stainless Steel enclosure options are available on the 5100-05-IT.

The 5100-05-IT from Sierra Monitor Corporation is a stand-alone module loaded with the features required to provide the due diligence expected in hazardous areas including:

o Fastest response time, highest accuracy, and specifications unmatched in the industry
o Integral scrolling LED with magnet operated menu and easy, non-intrusive calibration
o Optional remote sensor that can be up to 100' from the transmitter
o 4-20mA, Modbus RTU, SentryBus
o Integral alarm relays
