Hydraulic Vane Pumps suit high/low circuit operation.

Press Release Summary:

Series T7 vane pumps utilize combination of different cartridges in double and triple pumps to allow low-flow/high-pressure (4350 psi) and high-flow/low-pressure operation. High-pressure capability is 4,650 psi max. Typical volumetric efficiency of 94% reduces heat generation and allows speeds down to 600 rpm at full pressure. With mechanical efficiency typically better than 94%, units have speed range of 600-3600 rpm and are suited for applications in cold environments.

Denison's New T7 Hydraulic Vane Pumps Designed for 'High/Low' Circuits

MARYSVILLE, Ohio, March 10 - Denison Hydraulics has re-designed its current lineup of hydraulic vane pumps with bigger cartridges and with a number of different (proprietary) advantages over the current models.

The new T7 vane pumps have been specially designed for "high/low" circuit operation. A combination of different cartridges in double and triple pumps allows low flow at high pressure operation (300 bar, 4350 psi) and at high flow, low pressure -- a clever way for Denison customers to optimize their circuit design.

The new units in the T7 family - T7B, T7BS (new cam rings), T7D, T7DS, T7E, T7ES, plus double and triple pumps - also feature a very fast pressure cycle change with precise flow repeatability.

Application advantages:
o High pressure capability (up to 320 bar max, 4,650 psi), in the typical Denison vane pump small envelope, reduces installation costs and provides extended life;
o High volumetric efficiency, typically better than 94 percent, reduces heat generation and allows speeds down to 600 rpm at full pressure;
o High mechanical efficiency, also typically better than 94 percent, reduces energy consumption;
o Wide speed range - 600 to 3600 rpm - combined with large size cartridge displacements help to optimize operation for the lowest noise level in the smallest envelope;
o Capabilities of low speed and low pressure operation combined with functionality with highly viscous fluids allow for application in cold environments with minimum energy consumption and without risk of seizure; and
o Large variety of options (cam displacement, shaft, porting) promotes customized installation.
