The Clausing/Metal Muncher Viking Series Hydraulic Shear is designed for both specialized job work and continuous production applications. To meet the highest expectations of quality and performance, all shears feature a German steel double edge blade, a squaring arm with inch scale and a motorized 0" - 39.37" back gauge with digital read-out and hand wheel for fine adjustment to .004" accuracy. Additional features include single or automatic cutting with cutting length adjustment in automatic mode, cut line shadow lighting, and an operator-friendly Allen-Bradley Panelview 300 Micro Control system.
Clausing/Metal Muncher Viking Series Shears are available in a wide range of capacities from 80"x 1/8" to 160"x 3/4". Models CL20.06 and larger offer shearing angles of 1,4/2,7. Models CL20.16 and larger offer shearing angles of 1,9/3,3. Most models feature a hydraulic sheet hold down and motorized blade gap adjustment. Optional equipment includes table extensions with inch scale, squaring arm with T-slot, flip-over stop, inch gauge with angle scale, roller balls in the table, pneumatic sheet support, choice of manual or electro-pneumatic swing-away back gauge beam, motorized back gauge with up to 50 presets, movable front security guard with interlock and a light guard in place of standard mechanical rear guard.
