Graco Introduces New Reactor® H-40 And H-XP3 Proportioners

High-output hydraulic proportioners provide 20% more spray output

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - May 15 , 2007 - Graco introduced a new high-output hydraulic proportioner engineered especially for high-volume roofing and insulation foam projects, in-plant OEMs, and high-output polyurea coatings applications.

The new Reactor H-40 for foam and Reactor H-XP3 for coatings incorporate the best of Graco and Gusmer technologies, and bring increased yield and performance to high-output spraying, according to Tony Gargano of Graco. "This is the sprayer of choice for today's spraying professionals who want to reap the benefits of the latest technologies for their spraying businesses," says Gargano. "The Reactor H-40 and H-XP3 are designed to get the job done far more quickly and more reliably. Nothing else even comes close."

The new Reactor H-40 and Reactor H-XP3 offer 20 percent more spray output compared to the predecessor, the Graco|Gusmer H-20/35. The Reactor H-40 for polyurethane foam applications sprays 45 pounds per minute (20 kg/min), while the Reactor H-XP3 sprays up to 2.8 gallons (10.6 liters) of polyurea coatings per minute.

The new Reactor system features a powerful 20-kilowatt hybrid heater design that is engineered to heat materials quickly and maintain optimum temperature control, even when the unit is spraying at maximum flow rates. A digital user interface gives contractors total control over temperature and pressure, and allows the user to quickly set, maintain and monitor machine performance for best end results. For simplified troubleshooting and maintenance, the system offers a new electronic platform with a new circuit board that is divided into four easy-to-replace modules. The new Reactors also offer a lightweight hydraulic design with a 3.25-gallon tank.
