Bosch Rexroth Introduces Energy-Efficient, Whisper-Quiet Hydraulic Power Units
Company to feature its new power unit at IMTS, September 8-15, 2004, at the McCormick Place Complex in Chicago, IL; Booth # D4240.
With energy savings of up to 80% and a noise reduction by up to 15 dBa Rexroth sets new benchmarks with regard to energy-saving and low-noise hydraulic power units in machine tools.
The new power unit has been redesigned to achieve ultra low noise and drastically reduced energy consumption. A U-shaped tank with the motor-pump group mounts on anti-vibration pads to effectively insulate the source of noise. All components are easily accessible and allow further modules such as accumulator stations or IH20 control blocks to be easily mounted. The suction and return lines are installed wide apart, thus guaranteeing a good separation of air in the oil. The stainless steel version allows the use of any media.
The fixed-displacement pump always operates with high efficiency and reduces power losses in the circulation mode at almost zero pressure. Energy savings of up to 80% can be realized. Depending on the application, the accumulator charging circuit even makes a cooler superfluous.
