Original Press Release:
New 6-Spiral Aeroquip Hydraulic Hose from Eaton is Ideal for Extremely High-Pressure Applications
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced it is introducing a new six-spiral Aeroquip(R) hydraulic hose with a constant working pressure of 420 bar (6,000 psi).
New Aeroquip GH466-32 hose is a reliable solution for extremely high-pressure applications that experience high-pressure spikes. It also offers temperature capability up to +120°C (+250°F).
The hose is designed for mobile and stationary applications, such as excavators, oil exploration equipment, mining equipment and injection molding machines.
Aeroquip GH466-32 hose meets all requirements of EN856/100R15 with Class 0 cool-down leakage in accordance with SAE J1176. In addition, it surpasses requirements of SAE J1405 by withstanding more than 2 million flex impulse cycles.
Aeroquip GH466-32 hose uses Aeroquip Internal Skive Crimp (ISC) fittings, which feature an internal and external skive design that separates the socket into three different zones -dampening, sealing and wire trap. The unique hose and fitting design combination allows for extremely long service life in the most demanding applications.
