Portable Crane Products are Alternative to Fork Lift Trucks
An Ergonomic Answer to Repetitive Industrial Lifting Applications
STREETSBORO, OH — Ruger Industries, Inc., has announced a series of full power hydraulic floor crane products. These portable cranes can lift and transport up to 6000 lbs. without effort using electrically-actuated traction and hydraulics. They are particularly valuable in replacing manual lifting equipment, as they provide an ergonomic, strain-free solution to moving heavy loads.
Many firms use Ruger® full power portable cranes as safer, smaller and more economical alternatives to traditional fork lift trucks. Full power floor cranes are easy to maneuver, and can navigate door openings and narrow aisles. Suspended loads are held in place without motor or mechanical brake. Full power portable cranes feature push button lifting and lowering, on-board charging, a change-free battery system and all necessary safety features.
Ruger manufactures adjustable leg style, reverse style and straddle style powered portable cranes. Specialized end effectors and customization are available to suit many specific application requirements.
Ruger products feature structural tubing of 1/4" to 1/2" wall thickness, large lubricated casters and totally welded fabrication. Although they contain more than twice the metal as many competitive cranes with the same lifting rating, they are easy to maneuver, providing more durable service for continuous industrial use.
Ruger portable cranes reduce or eliminate the need for motorized lift trucks, which is a common goal of Safety Managers in industry. They also allow workers to work longer and lift more, reducing the potential for injury or chronic fatigue.
