AllenPort v2.2 Upgrades the Cloud with Microsoft Applications



PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 9 /-- AllenPort Co. announced today the release of its Virtual File Cabinet version 2.2. In addition to advanced file management tools for small and mid-sized businesses, AllenPort now includes subscription services for Microsoft Office Standard, Microsoft Office Professional, and Hosted Exchange, as well as Cloud Printing.

AllenPort's subscription services to Microsoft Office provide a unique capability; the rights to use the application belong to the subscriber not a particular PC. This means a subscriber has the ability to download Office on as many PCs as he needs without additional charges. This is possible because AllenPort provides the rights management so only the subscriber can use the application.
