HSI's Hybrid Linear Actuators Utilize Lifetime Lubrication
HSI is proud to reveal the advantages and benefits of the special lubrication used in its hybrid linear actuator line of motors.
By using a high performance synthetic grease HSI is able to produce actuators that exhibit exceptional durability with no need to re-apply lubr-ication. In addition to providing maintenance free service, the lubricant has exceptional temperature characteristics, ranging from -65°C to 250°C.
Additional benefits of the grease are that it is non-flammable, chemiiically inert and has a low vapor pressure, making it ideal for contamination sensitive instruments.
The hybrid linear actuators are available in a wide variety of resolutions from 0.000060" per step to 0.002" per step, deliver thrust of up to 200 lbs., and can exceed speeds of 10 inches per second. Typical applications include X-Y tables, medical equipment, semiconductor handling, telecommunications equipment, and valve control or anywhere precise positioning, rapid motion and long life are required.
