Original Press Release:

New Heyco®-Tite Hybrid Liquid Tight Cordgrips with PG or Metric Hubs Provide the Ultimate In Liquid Tight Strain Relief Protection

Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2008 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and power components, has announced availability of their new Heyco® -Tite Hybrid Liquid Tight Cordgrips with PG or Metric Hubs.

For use in clearance or threaded holes, the Cordgrips provide the durability of a nickel plated brass enclosure with drastically lower installed cost and more secure wire gripping with a nylon finger design. Hybrid Cordgrips make it possible to insert different diameters of cable in the same cable gland easily, with flexibility, and with a good seal.

Available in multiple sizes for flexible cord diameters ranging from .04" (1,0 mm) to 2.17" ( 55,0 mm), the moveable articulated fingers provide large clamping and sealing areas for secure and flexible everyday use. Upon tightening the compression nut of the cordgrip, the segmented finger design compresses around the gland and wire to provide a torsion proof seal. The Cordgrips are IP68 rated, and the nickel plated finish over brass provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The sealing gland is molded in Thermoplastic Polymer Elastomer (TPE) material for maximum flexibility. Metal locknuts are not included.
