Husky Announces Availability of Ultra Helix(TM) 350 Nozzles
BOLTON, Ontario - Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the availability of the Ultra Helix™ 350 valve gate, expanding the existing product line of the award-winning valve gate technology released in 2015. This new series of nozzles provides customers even more options for creating a wider range of applications, producing better quality parts with the longest gate life of any valve gate currently available.

Husky conducted extensive research in order to understand the fundamentals of valve gate dynamics, materials, wear, and gate quality while developing the Ultra Helix™ nozzle. Coming as close as possible to zero gate vestige performance, the Ultra Helix™ valve gate dramatically improves part quality. Additionally, Ultra Helix nozzles build on Husky’s track record of industry-leading thermal uniformity and virtually eliminates mechanical wear on the valve stems and cavity steel.

Because of this we have gained a lot of confidence in the gate quality and elimination of wear that these valve gates have provided. We are planning to implement Ultra Helix in future production tools with long run times.”
