Supplied in 5 x 2.5 x 1.25 in. housing and powered by 9 V battery, handheld VT100 measures air velocity from 0-6,000 fpm with 0.01 resolution and temperature from -4 to +176°F. Ice Blue backlit 128 x 128 pixel LCD can be read in light or dark environments, and engineering units (m/sec, fpm) are user-selectable. In addition to Max, Min, and Hold functions, features include adjustable shut off and shock proof housing. Uses include laboratory, clean room, air balancing, and other applications.
