D-M-E introduces Gate-Mate Lite Hot Runner Nozzles - the Most Economical Choice for Direct Gating Applications



November 2003 - Gate-Mate Lite, a successor to the popular Gate-Mate 4 nozzles, offers the most economical solution for thin-walled parts, direct part gating and high-cavitation molding. Now available in 10 nozzle lengths from 42 through 130mm, Gate-Mate Lite is suitable for multi-cavity molds. Featuring an advanced-design square coil heater and integrated thermocouple, the newest addition to the hot runner product line ensures an accurate temperature profile throughout the nozzle. In addition, a highly conductive beryllium copper tip provides the precise heat needed for proper gate control, better part appearance, and minimum vestige.

Available in a choice of point-gate or thru-hole tip styles, Gate-Mate Lite features a bodiless design that leaves no witness marks on the finished molded part. Gate-Mate Lite is ideal for parts up to 225 grams and easily processes POM, TPE, TPO, PE, PP, PS, SAN, ABS, PA, PPO, PMMA, and PC. The nozzles are easy to install and operate, enabling streamlined set-up and production.
