Henkel Loctite Expands Hot Melt Equipment Line To Include Bulk Dispensers
Rocky Hill, Conn. - August 15, 2003.... Henkel Loctite Corporation has expanded its line of Loctite® Hysol® hot melt dispensing equipment to include bulk hot melt dispensers for high volume applications.
Three high performance bulk dispenser models, the Bulk-12 System, the Bulk-14 System, and the Bulk-34 System, feature 12, 14, and 34 pound tank capacities, respectively. All three models offer high volume extrusion, spray or swirl options, and feature internal system diagnostics that monitor temperatures and system settings. The bulk dispensers can be outfitted with optional stand-alone controllers or programmable logic controllers for varying levels of automation.
The new bulk dispenser systems accommodate all Loctite® hot melt adhesives. Reservoirs are PTFE coated to reduce tank residues. A high surface area melt grid integrated into the tank walls ensures fast and even heating and eliminates hot spots in the reservoir. All system settings and diagnostics are visible on the front display to facilitate monitoring. Bulk-12 and Bulk-14 Systems are available in 112 and 230 VAC versions, while the Bulk-34 System is only available in 230 VAC.
The Bulk-12 System is a single hose applicator design with three controllable temperature zones over seven fine-tuned ranges. The Bulk-14 System provides two independent, customizable dispense lines with five controllable temperature zones over six individual ranges. The Bulk-34 System offers four dispense lines with nine controllable temperature zones over six individual ranges.
