30-Circuit Host Connectors form Molex Designed for New 10 Gigabit XFP Standard

DesignCon 2003, Santa Clara, CA. - January 28, 2003 - Connect storage equipment reliably with the new 30-circuit XFP host connectors from Molex Incorporated. These Molex interconnects are used with 10 Gigabit XFP Small Form Factor Pluggable Modules, and they are referenced in the XFP Standard. They are ideal for connecting switches, routers and other storage equipment.

These right-angle SMT connectors feature a 0.8mm pitch, 30-position design. Both the XFP modules and host system are hot-pluggable.

The XFP host connector adds to Molex's growing family of 10 Gigabit solutions that includes the 70-circuit XPAK/XENPAK connector.
