Parker's New 472TC High-Impulse Hose Offers Superior Flexibility, Tight Bend Radius

WICKLIFFE, OHIO, October 8, 2002 - Parker Hannifin's Hose Products Division introduces its 472TC hose for high-impulse applications requiring superior flexibility.

Parker's 472TC hose increases the Parker Tough Cover product line that features a one-half SAE 100R12 minimum bend radius and exceeds SAE 100R16 specifications. This equates to easy installation in tight spaces and less hose used. With a 15% to 35% higher working pressure than standard SAE 100R2 hose, the two-wire braid hose has an oil-resistant, synthetic, high Nitrile rubber tube to handle a variety of petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, lubrication oils, water/oil emulsion, water/glycol hydraulic fluids, and polyol ester fluids. Parker's MSHA-accepted Tough Cover resists abrasion, significantly prolonging hose life and reducing system downtime.

When combined with Parker 43 Series crimp fittings, Parker 472TC provides the utmost in leak protection. The hose is compatible with Parker's Parkrimp family of crimpers and can be crimped without removing the hose cover.
