New Technology in Horizontal Sieve Shakers
Retsch's new sieve shaker AS 400 is designed for use with sieve stacks from 4" to 16" diameter. Its careful circular motion is particularly suitable for coarse particles as well as grains of oblong shape, such as grains, wood fibers, and plastics. All parameters (time, speed, interval) are digitally controlled, with the possibility to save up to 9 combinations for routine sieving processes. For ultimate reproducibility of results, the unit can be switched to acceleration mode, which in industrial sieving has been known to be a more precise parameter than amplitude. The interface allows for integration of the sieve shaker in a quality sieving process controlled through the software EasySieve®. The AS 400 comes with an inspection certificate and can be recalibrated.
