Homogenizer produces nanoparticles from multiple streams.

Press Release Summary:

DeBEE® Ultra High-Pressure Homogenizer, with fully modular, Next Generation(TM) Homogenizing Cell, has dual-jet system. Using fluid-against-fluid technique, dual-jet system has 2 high pressure fluid inlets and option to introduce third material into high-intensity stream. Using intensifiers which provide continuous smooth flow up to 45,000 psi, uniform nanoparticles with narrow D90 can be achieved. Unit is scalable to production quantities in thousands of liter per hour range.

Original Press Release:

Patented DeBEE "Dual Jet" Homogenized Cell Produces Nanoparticles from Multiple Streams and Phases

DeBEE® Ultra High-Pressure Homogenizers with their patented, fully modular Next Generation(TM) Homogenizing Cell extend their flexibility with their new Dual Jet system for producing
Nanoparticles from multiple high intensity streams and even multiple phases. Using a pure "fluid-against-fluid" technique without wear pioneered by BEE, the newly patented DeBEE Dual Jet
features two high pressure fluid inlets and the option to easily introduce a third material such as a dry powder and incorporate it into the high intensity stream. Using their proprietary intensifiers which offer continuous smooth flow up to 45,000 PSI (3,100 bar), the most uniform Nanoparticles with the narrowest D90 can be achieved, often in only ONE pass through the Dual Jet. Producing new and novel products which require grinding and particle size reduction of highly abrasive materials such as titanium dioxide, silica, magnetic or conductive media, photosensitive materials, pharmaceuticals, etc. for coating or other purposes, is easily accomplished without wear with the
DeBEE Dual Jet. A proven key advantage of the DeBEE Homogenizing Cells in any configuration, including the Dual Jet, is they are readily scalable to production quantities in the thousands of liter per hour range. The patented DeBEE Dual Jet is available on all DeBEE machines from the laboratory to full production sizes.
