BAHCO by Snap-on Unveils New Self-Service and Industrial Packaging for Trusted Family of Holesaws
SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 12, 2001- BAHCO North America, formerly Sandvik Saws and Tools, has introduced BAHCO by Snap-on's family of holesaws featuring bimetal holesaws with self-service and industrial packaging and carbide-tipped saws with industrial packaging only. The reusable self-service packaging features bar codes and displays safety features and information specific to sawing applications.
The self-service package also features a colorful, attention-getting design that's easy for end-users to recognize and for distributors to display. The unique package design allows distributors to hang individual holesaws for prominent display. End-users can unscrew the hanger from the top of the holesaw when it's time to use and then reattach the hanger to store the saw when finished.
Each self-service packaged bimetal holesaw features a unique tooth-guard that protects against tooth damage on the saw and prevents hand cuts to the user. The plastic tooth-guard easily pulls out of the holesaw and provides pictograms and instructions, including saw dimensions, appropriate arbor sizes and recommended revolutions per minute for specific materials. hole saws to complete jobs accurately and safely.
Bimetal and carbide-tipped holesaws are available in sizes ranging from 9/16- to six-inches in diameter. Also available are complete industry-specific holesaw kits that
