New Web-Enabled Software From Invensys Provides Easy Access To Plant Operational Data, Any Time, Any Place, In Any Format

FOXBORO, MASSACHUSETTS, USA - February 5, 2002 - Invensys today introduced AIM*Inform ("AIMstar Inform") the latest addition to the AIM*AT plant information management system. This new software application makes it quick and easy for authorized users to configure and access data views from a wide variety of real-time, historical, reduction, and message data sources stored in the AIM*Historian. These data views are readily available to appropriate personnel via industrial intranets.

* Flexible Data Views allow users to set the filters, sorting schemes, and scan rates that will provide them with the specific information they require, plus select the most attractive, easy-to-read display backgrounds, fonts, and table styles for each data view
* Flexible output targets for data views include a client PC, operator workstation, printer, or Web browser
* Configuration Wizards step the user through the setup routine to rapidly create or modify Data Views. These include the History Wizard, Real-Time Wizard, and Messages Wizard
* The Data Center provides a common administration environment window that is used to quickly access, modify, categorize, and otherwise manage Data Views
