Sugatsune launched its state of the art Hinge Hardware product line to the USA market. This industrial hardware provides a full range of stainless steel hinges for light or heavy-duty applications in industrial design, clean room, exterior or corrosive environments.
The highlight feature of this Hinge hardware collection is the use of 316, and 304 stainless steel on many of the products. The new SFTH series torque hinges are available in 5 standard preset torque setting ranging from 4.3 lbs-in to 49.9 lbs-in. The units have a 20,000 life cycle and an operating temperature range of -4 º ~140ºF. The hinges are self-lubricating and come in 3 sizes, which can also be customized, to a pre-determined torque setting.
The range of hinges offer a choice of weld on, non-handed, lift off, quick release, spring loaded, some with bearings for smooth movement for all applications. Sugatsune also developed hinges for cell phones / PDA's ideal for clamshell type applications that pass 100,000 open/close cycle tests.
