New High-Voltage SMT Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor, Ratings to 450 Vdc
New Bedford, Massachusetts, February 2002 - Cornell Dubilier announces a new addition to their SMT Aluminum Electrolytic (V-CHIP) product line of capacitors. Type AEB delivers high voltage performance, and up to 5000 hours of load life @ 105 deg C.
CDE will now offer high capacitance and high voltage capability in a surface mount package for input / output filtering, bypassing and decoupling applications.
The AEB series is available in seven, vertical, cylindrical case sizes ranging from 10 x 13.5 mm to 18 x 21.5 mm. Capacitance range is from 2.2 microF to 100 microF; rated voltage, from 160 Vdc to 450 Vdc and an operating temperature range from -20 deg C to +105degC. Ripple current ratings are over 1 amp at 100 kHz.
Samples are available from stock and production quantities are available from stock to 12 weeks. Pricing ranges from $0.35 to about $1.00 each in volume. The series is tape and reel packaged in quantities of 75 to 250 per reel according to case size.
