Televac Introduces High Performance 3D Miniature B/A High Vacuum Sensor

Televac/ETI, a leading world class manufacturer of vacuum measurement instruments and sensors that span the spectrum from rough to ultra high vacuum, has announced availability of their new 3D Mini All Metal Enclosed Bayard Alpert Type Ionization Gauge with Supported Dual Filament for highly accurate vacuum measurement over a range of 1 x 10-10to 1 x 10-2 Torr. The Televac 3D Miniature B/A Sensor is a fraction of the volume of traditional glass envelope sensors and, as a consequence, provides a much faster response time to changes in pressure when close-coupled to the vacuum chamber. It performs similarly to nude ion gauges but unlike nude gauges, the 3D is fully enclosed in a protective stainless steel body. Its performance at UHV is enhanced by an ultra-low x-ray limit.
